I have been involved with Association Management since 1995 when I ran a 351 Home Association in Lake Worth Florida. Until I moved in 2000, I learned the old school way of doing business. Keeping records by hand, File Management, Roberts Rules, Note Taking, Managing meetings, Making a Quorum and getting people to the meetings, Organizing, Facilitating and Decision Making is what I pride myself, along with my Integrity, each time I take on a new Association.
Up until last year, I have always worked for Developers and did not need my CAM license to run an Association, now that I received my CAM license, I can take on projects and assist the Owners, in saving them money, since we charge 8% for fees, per month. Over the years I have saved many organizations money by opening the bids for services they needed such as Roofing, Insurance, Paving, Painting, Repairs, Permits, Landscaping and so much more.
My background in Accounting and Law makes me able to communicate in writing, and in public speaking, to interpret numbers and how they work, to absorb, analyze and pass on the information, and to do it in a manner that everyone understands and can relate to. Having the experience and loving what I do, makes me a great candidate for organizing an Association and its meetings. I have over 20 years to offer a Community.
